AstraVision Cookies Policy

Last updated: August 25, 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the site recognize your device and remember things about your visit. This policy explains the cookies AstraVision uses and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.

All cookies we set are first-party (set by astravision.ai itself). Some last only for your browsing session ("session cookies") and are deleted when you close your browser; others persist for a limited period ("persistent cookies").

2. The cookies we use

Essential cookies (always on). Required for the Service to work: they keep you signed in (session cookie), protect against cross-site request forgery (the CSRF token), and support our security measures. These cannot be turned off, and they store no information about you beyond what is needed to run the site.

Preference cookies. Remember choices like your theme (light/dark) and language, so we do not ask you on every visit. Small, non-identifying data; they are set only after you make a choice.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent). We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are, and how the site performs. GA4 is loaded only after you accept cookies in our banner. It uses cookies and similar technology to collect aggregate usage data; we use it to improve the Service, not to build profiles of you.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. No advertisers receive data from us.

3. Consent

When you first visit astravision.ai, you see a cookie banner. Clicking "Accept" turns on analytics cookies; essential and preference cookies are active regardless, because the site needs them to function. If you decline, analytics stay off.

Withdrawing consent. You can change your mind at any time:

  • clear or block cookies in your browser settings (see below); or
  • if our banner or a consent-settings control is available, use it to turn analytics off again.

Preference cookies (theme, language) are set only after you make a choice; deleting them just resets those preferences to the default.

4. Managing cookies in your browser

All major browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies. The "help" or "settings" section of your browser explains how (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge all provide cookie controls). Blocking essential cookies will break sign-in and other core functions of the Service.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version.
