AstraVision Terms of Use

1. These terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AstraVision (https://astravision.ai), an AI media-generation service that creates images, videos, talking avatars, and AI-studio artwork ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms; if you do not agree, do not use it.
Our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy are part of these Terms; please read them too.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you certify that you are 18 or older. We plan to add an in-product age-verification step.
3. The Service
The Service lets you generate media from text prompts and, when you choose, from photos you upload. How your photos are handled (transiently — never stored) is described in our Privacy Policy. The Service is provided "as is" (Section 9); specific models and features may change as providers come and go.
4. Acceptable use — the likeness rule (read this)
AstraVision is built on real human faces: users upload photos of themselves or of people who have consented.
You may only upload a person's image if the image is of you, or you have that person's documented consent to use it. "Documented" means you can produce written (including digital) proof of consent if we ask. By uploading any image, you confirm that you have that consent.
You may not use the Service to:
- generate intimate or sexualized imagery of any real person without their explicit consent;
- upload or generate content involving minors — prohibited outright, with no exception;
- upload an image you do not have the right to use (e.g., photos taken without permission or shared privately);
- generate content that is illegal, harassing, defamatory, or that otherwise violates the law or the rights of others.
You are solely responsible for the content you generate — the prompts, the outputs, and how you use or share them. We are not the publisher or creator of your outputs.
Enforcement. Content that violates these rules will be removed; we may terminate your account, block access, and cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate. We may review reported content and, in serious cases, suspend accounts while investigating. Misusing a real person's face is the harm this Service is designed to prevent — we take it seriously.
5. Your content and our license
You own your uploads — the photos you provide remain yours. You own the media you generate, subject to any visibility or sharing settings you choose in your plan.
Our license is limited to operating the Service. You grant AstraVision a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display your uploads and outputs solely to provide the Service: storing and delivering your files, and sending them to the AI providers that generate your media. We do not use your content for promotional purposes, advertising, or any purpose beyond operating the Service, and we do not sell it.
6. Accounts, subscriptions, credits, and refunds
Accounts. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for everything done through your account. Tell us immediately if you believe your account is compromised.
Subscriptions and credits. Paid features work on subscriptions and credit packs. Current prices, credit costs, and plan terms are shown on the Pricing & Billing page (https://astravision.ai/pricing), which is part of these Terms. Payment is processed by Stripe (and, where offered, PayPal, Razorpay, and Mollie); we never see or store your card details.
Refunds. Refunds follow the rules of the payment gateway used and applicable consumer law. Because media generation consumes third-party AI costs immediately, generated content is generally non-refundable; unused credit balances and eligible subscription charges may be refundable as described on that page. 7. Acceptable use of the Service (general)
You agree not to: misuse the Service to send spam or abuse; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its systems, or other users' accounts; probe, scan, or test the Service in ways that could damage or disrupt it; scrape content at scale; or use the Service to violate any law. We may rate-limit or throttle usage to protect the Service.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from Settings. Deletion removes your profile, prompts, and generated media from our systems (see the Privacy Policy).
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms (including the likeness rule in Section 4), or where required by law or provider policy. If we terminate for breach, you are not entitled to a refund. On termination, your access ends immediately; stored content may be deleted after a short grace period.
9. Availability and liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind — including uninterrupted operation, error-free results, or outputs meeting your expectations. AI models are imperfect: outputs may be flawed or unusable, and we accept no liability for their quality.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AstraVision's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business, even if advised of the possibility. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be announced on the site (for example, a notice at sign-in or by email). Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). (To be completed by the owner before publication.)
